ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Network Administrator to join our team in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (Northern) DMV area. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Designs, installs, maintain, and coordinate the use of the network system.   
  • Evaluates hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. 
  • Manages network performance to maintain high quality transmission service on the network.   
  • Maintains, create/deletes user accounts, maintains, and updates system security plans on all platforms. Review and update SOPs, and other documents 
  • Implements and coordinates network policies, procedures, and standards.   
  • Enforces security procedures. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned which may require specific physical abilities. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related field of study
  • Within six (6) months of hire you must obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of ITIL service delivery concepts  
  • Microsoft certification for Windows desktop or server administration 
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA) 

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability is required prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% 
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer 
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
