ManTech seeks a motivated, career customer-oriented Cyber Analyst to join our team in St. Inigoes, MD This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze technology/capability gaps, research, develop, and deploy software cyber solutions with focus on system accreditation

  • Manage the authorization status of Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) from step 1 through 6

  • Implement, upgrade, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.

  • Assess system vulnerabilities and security risks, and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies

  • Work with Risk Management Framework Team to ensure cyber controls are incorporated and associated policy documentation and records are updated

  • Creates, edits, and manages changes to network or system access control lists on specialized DoD cyber security applications and systems

  • Responsible for updating the rules and custom content of specialized cyber security applications and systems.

  • Troubleshoots cyber security systems hardware and software when issues occur.

  • Tests and evaluates new cyber security applications or tools, rules, access controls, and configurations of cyber security platforms

  • Identifies potential conflicts with implementation of any cyber security tools within the enterprise and develops recommendations to remediate these conflicts

  • Supports enterprise mitigation efforts based on the specific monitoring and filtering capabilities of existing cyber security infrastructure

  • Analyzes life-cycle configuration management of applications, rules, filters, and configurations of managed order security systems

  • Provides subject matter expertise in the creation, editing, and management of rules and filters for specialized cyber security systems including but not limited to network and host-based IDS, IPS, firewall, web application firewall, proxy and SIEM systems Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in relevant cyber field

  • 10+ Years of experience in Cybersecurity and RMF

  • Hold one of the following certifications: Security+, CASP+, CISSP-ISSEP, FITSP-D, GCSA, CCSP, Cloud+, CSC, GCLD, or GSEC Cybersecurity Certifications

  • Experience with DOD Risk Management Framework (RMF), cloud computing technologies, and policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures

  • Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Ports, Protocols, and Services Matrix, Vulnerability (VRAM)

  • Experience Microsoft Office and Google Tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Cyber System Administrator on DoD systems

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required and an active Secret security clearance or ability to get an Interim Secret before starting

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations


The projected compensation range for this position is $102,200.00-$169,500.00.
