ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Contractor Program Security Officer to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD office. Infrequent travel required throughout DMV area.
The CPSO is the primary interface with government agencies regarding assigned program security matters and requirements. The CPSO will complete the PAR process, prepare for inspections, process visit requests, conduct security briefings, refreshers, and debriefings, maintain access rosters, classified mail, and IDS/access management systems and perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Interpreting and applying DoD Manual 5205.07, Security Classification Guides (SCGs), the NISPOM, and other policies
Clearance processing for SCI, and SAP accesses via DISS and customer systems
Maintaining SAPF Accreditations, Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs), and Co-Use Agreements (CUAs)
Conducting Program Security self-inspections
Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), Concept of Operations (CONOPs), and OPSEC Plans
Administering Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) to include indoctrination, refresher, and termination briefings.
Maintain classified material accountability records to include inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records and final disposition documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred bachelor’s degree, Military equivalent in related discipline, or equivalent education and experience
Minimum 4 years’ experience as CPSO
In depth knowledgeable of the DoD SAP Manuals Vol 1-4
Ability to perform COMSEC duties including inventory and disposition
Intermediate competency level with Microsoft Office Suite programs
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI eligibility.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.
Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication both verbally and non-verbally to deliver updates; briefings; or interface with co-workers; leadership as well as customer.
Must be able to effectively use IT peripherals such as laptop, desktop, printer, etc.
