ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Customer Onboarding Engineer to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. The position is fully remote.
As a Cloud Customer Onboarding Engineer, you will be responsible as part of a team of highly skilled professionals tasked with deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting compute assets in AWS. This position offers great opportunities for technical experience and growth.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring they are set up and configured properly on our cloud platform. Provide hands-on technical assistance during their initial setup and integration.
Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and help customize cloud solutions to fit their specific requirements, ensuring a seamless transition to the cloud environment.
Identify and resolve any technical challenges customers encounter during the onboarding process. Escalate complex issues as necessary to appropriate internal teams.
Deliver training sessions and provide clear documentation to ensure customers can effectively use the cloud platform. Create onboarding guides, FAQs, and other resources to support self-service learning.
Collaborate with engineering and cyber teams to ensure customer expectations are met and any roadblocks are addressed swiftly.
Serve as the customer’s advocate by providing feedback and insights to product and engineering teams to help improve our cloud offerings and the overall customer experience.
Provide continued support during the early stages of product adoption, ensuring customers transition smoothly into the regular usage phase.
Able to capture and explain any associated risks of migrating to or creating a new cloud environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline; six years of relevant work experience may be acceptable in lieu of degree
Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., technical support, implementation, or onboarding).
4+ years hands-on experience with AWS
Strong understanding of cloud architectures and solutions
DoD 8570 IAT level II CompTIA Security+ CE
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Preferred Qualifications:
An associate-level AWS certification
Experience with DevOps tools and processes, CI/CD, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Clearance Requirement:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
