ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Classified Material Control Center Specialist to join our team in Stafford, VA. This is on site position and some travel maybe required.
The Classified Material Control Center Specialist will implement an Industrial Security Program in accordance with the National Industrial Security Operating Program Manual (NISPOM/NISPOM RULE 32 CFR).
Responsibilities to but are not limited to:
Accurately enter all classified documents and media into the Security Information Management Systems (SIMs) database. Create and issue Courier Cards
Ensure all material is marked in accordance with Executive Order 13526
Ensure full accountability by logging, assigning ownership, tracking, and certifying destruction of all documents & media in SIMs and Prepare and conduct classified document inventories. Develop local security policy as needed
Properly package classified material for transmission outside facility
Maintain accountability of all classified media entering and leaving the facility and assist in annual DCSA Inspection
Maintain the physical integrity for CMCC and secure work areas and implement the Classified Asset Management (CAM) Program
Provide backup coverage to Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager, Alternate Facility Security Officer, and back up coverage to Access Control desk as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
1 year experience in Industrial Security, classified document/asset/media control and setting.
Proficient in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Solid working knowledge of NISPOM/SEAD 3 requirements
Experience securing closed areas such as locking and setting alarms.
Experience coordinating with various government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with various government regulations and the NISPOM/NISPOM RULE 32 CFR
Experience with customer security as needed to maintain situational awareness of security issues, alerts and notifications
Experience with administering all security aspects for the program supported to include implementation of security requirements to ensure compliance
Must possess strong written communication skills and can write and communicate complex concepts to government customers and technical staff
Ability to verify facilities in the National Industrial Security System (NISS)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience
Clearance Requirements:
Top Secret/SCI clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
