ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Chief Technology Engineer to join our team. The position is fully Remote.
As the Mission/Enterprise IT Chief Engineer for the Navy Segment you will play an important role in providing critical solutions to the Navy and growing the Navy business at ManTech. From strategy and roadmap development to leading key technology initiatives and participating in the competitive bid process you will be play an important role within our Navy team. You will serve as a pivotal leader bridging internal engineering excellence with external strategic relationships. By driving innovation and ensuring alignment with key contracts—including GSA Alliant 2, DoD IAC Program Management Office, DISA/DITCO, and NAVFAC—the Mission/Enterprise IT Chief Engineer will play a crucial role in securing and maintaining ManTech's competitive edge
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as Segment primary Mission/Enterprise IT Chief Engineer POC for the Navy customer.
Lead customer tech exchanges and coordinate same with other tech leaders within the Segment
Lead technical strategy and resulting roadmap in support of Segment strategy and associated go-to-market plans.
Work directly with the ManTech Navy Technology Director and the Innovation & Capabilities Office (ICO)
Collaborate across ManTech to architect solutions in support of new business, customer demonstrations and engagement, and promote growth.
Architect solutions and identify investments to align with long-range strategic pursuits and initiatives in the existing portfolios and adjacent markets.
Product owner for technical artifacts and deliverables generated in response to RFPs, RFIs, BAAs, and whitepapers for the Segment.
Represent the organization at industry conferences, engagements, and round tables.
Lead university engagement and community outreach initiatives for next gen talent.
Lead initiatives around concepts, criteria and best practices for design and engineering.
Lead advanced technological initiatives like AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation to increase the quality of engineering services provided.
Lead engineering teams in delivering secure, high-quality solutions tailored to defense, intelligence, and federal mission needs.
Represent ManTech in client engagements, aligning engineering strategies with both mission objectives.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to increase contract acquisition rates and generate a strong ROI on business development efforts.
Act as a trusted advisor for stakeholders under contracts such as Cybersecurity and C5ISR, ensuring measurable success through cost-effective solutions
Ability to build positive customer relationships and engage with all levels of customer and ManTech stakeholders
Ability to build positive internal relationships across the organization to include mentoring the technical SME community
Ability to think and operate on both the strategic and tactical levels
Up to 25 % travel mainly Conus
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in technical field, additional 6 years comparable work experience in tech sector might be substituted in lieu of a degree.
15+ years of professional experience working with technical SMEs in a technical field
5+ years of working in a technical leadership position with the US Navy
Experience developing go-to-market plans as a technical leader with cross-functional teams
Experience in systems engineering, AI and High-Performance Computing, Cloud and Data Solutions, Cybersecurity and Compliance, and Digital Transformation and Innovation.
Experience and ability to write technical competitive proposals
Existing relationships in NAVWAR (including PEO Digital, PEO MLB, PEO C4I)
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree preferred
Active TS Clearance
Experience with large scale Enterprise IT programs
Active-duty military experience, particularly with the US Navy
Strong written and verbal communications skills, particularly when presenting technical topics to a non-technical audience
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as computer printer
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
