Description & Requirements

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Audio-Visual Technician to join our team at our California, MD.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Testing the equipment to ensure everything is connected correctly and the signal is strong

  • Installing permanent AV equipment in offices or classrooms. Creating records about inventory, maintenance and other key details related to the equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and minimum of (3) three years of Audio Visual (AV) experience

  • Experience using various types of AV equipment

  • Experience with understanding diagrams and schedules

  • Experience taking inventory and completing reports on equipment

  • Experience with resolving technical issues

  • Experience troubleshooting Audio Visual (AV) issues

  • Experience using various technology tools

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Able to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and accurately

  • Knowledge of audio and visual equipment, cameras, equipment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions quickly

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current and active Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80%

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer


The projected compensation range for this position is $66,500.00-$110,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.  ManTech’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Short Term and Long Term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
