Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented, Application Systems Analyst, Sr to join our team. This position is a Remote position from anywhere in the U.S. Selected candidate must be able to travel to Clarksburg, WV, for processing when hired.
 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Incorporate manual and automated mechanisms to allocate server storage space and provisioning storage (e.g., EBS and S3)
• Use Software defined infrastructure and automated configuration management applications.
• Responsible for setting up monitoring and issuing alerts for cloud based systems.
• Setting up and monitoring system administration tasks in a cloud environment.
• Ability to work within an Enterprise level Linux environment.
• Use Virtual technology tools to consolidate computing resources.
• Ability to work across enterprise network architectures.
• Responsible for Supporting security rights and restrictions.
• Use tools and resources to support encryption.
• Monitoring all enterprise cloud-based systems.
• Setting up and supporting backups and disaster recovery in a cloud environment.
• Using Scripting languages such as Perl or Python.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience

• Provisioning storage (e.g., EBS and S3)
  • Software defined infrastructure and automated configuration management
  • Setting up monitoring and alerts for cloud based systems
  • Setting up and monitoring system administration tasks in a cloud
  • Enterprise level Linux
  • Virtualization technologies
  • Enterprise network architectures
  • Supporting security rights and restrictions
  • Supporting encryption
  • Monitoring cloud based systems
  • Setting up and supporting the following in a cloud environment: backups and disaster recovery
  • Scripting languages such as Perl or Python

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expert usage of RHEL/CentOS.
• Extensive experience with AWS EC2.AWS Gov Cloud.
• Experience in automating internally generated applications using Ansible.
• Hardening IT systems (e.g., STIG) using tools and techniques to reduce vulnerability applications.
• Experience with Cyber security scans and implementing scan findings.
• Able to quickly adapt to a constantly changing environment.
• REXX on z/VM  
• Linux on IBM Mainframes 
• IBM Mainframe z/VM 

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an active Top Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
• Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility
