Description & Requirements
MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Systems Analyst to join our team in the Norfolk, VA or San Diego, CA. This is a hybrid position that will require at least 1 day onsite per week.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with Fleet ASW SMEs to understand the evolving challenges related to successive Aegis AWS Baselines receiving different ASW software and hardware combinations.
Assist in enhancing ASW training capabilities by addressing fielding challenges and limitations for both Hardware and Software.
Travel up to 25%
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent education
10+ years of experience as a sonar technician (STG) on a surface ship
Knowledge, skills and experience with all aspects of shipboard ASW operations
Preferred Qualifications:
Understand IWS 5 Hardware and Software fielding along with their alternating year fielding schedules
Familiarity with Aegis AWS Baselines and their integration challenges
Experience interfacing with military organizations for the development and enhancement of training simulations
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active or current United States Government Secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentation
The projected compensation range for this position is $96,100.00-$159,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
