Join our dynamic team at ManTech, where innovation meets excellence in the realm of advanced engineering. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Aegis Combat Systems Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC

A hybrid schedule may be available for this position.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance. This position requires a strong background in leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 1F Major Program Manager/Deputy Major Program Manager (MPM/DMPM) in developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance

  • Attend high-level briefings and taking detailed notes for later briefings to the MPM/DMPM on fleet combat systems issues

  • Maintain a schedule of upcoming combat systems fleet readiness related briefings

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university

  • 3+ years of Navy fleet experience

  • Must be a former Junior US Naval Officer

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the AEGIS Combat System

  • Ability to research program information and adapt and re-use relevant information from other briefs

  • Experience working with SharePoint and Confluence

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a current or active U.S. Government Secret Security clearance.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $73,500.00-$122,600.00.
