MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Patuxent River, MD. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide administrative and organization support, to include assistance supporting senior department personnel
Perform administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing, and maintaining paper & electronic files, and the set-up/facilitation of various meetings
Perform Visitor Control duties aligned to the department
Perform calendar management duties associated with reserving GOVT meeting spaces
Perform office inventory taskings
Performing mail orderly related duties, to include classified mail pick up and storage
Assist with establishing new employee workspaces and “hot desk” scheduling
May be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
1+ years of experience performing Administrative related work
Ability to interface with Senior Military & Civil Service personnel
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ months of experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), formally known as Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
The projected compensation range for this position is $32,400.00-$54,100.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
