ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team working in Lompoc, CA. This is an onsite position.
This position will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties to support an office that specializes in conservation biology, environmental planning, and natural resources implementation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain electronic filing systems and track records, including equipment inventories, maintenance schedules, purchase requests, expense reports, etc.
Prepare authorizations, schedule, and coordinate travel for staff, including preparing and tracking expense reports for employee reimbursements
Support office purchasing and maintain a corporate purchase card
Aid new staff hires in orientation, systems setup (computer/network logins, phone requests, etc.), training, and assigning equipment
Ensure that critical office permits and licenses are tracked and renewed on time
Perform a variety of support services such as operation of reproduction equipment to produce large volumes of documents, courier service, and mail service, etc.
Retrieve, sort, and distribute incoming mail and purchases and arrange for the delivery of outgoing mail/packages
Assist in ordering supplies/equipment and arranging for office equipment repairs
Maintain routine communications with staff and supervisors via phone, email, and apps to receive, implement, and track completion of support assignments
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent education
2+ years of experience completing office assistant, administrative assistant, or other related clerical duties
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher education
Experience in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental, or Construction industries
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
