ManTech seeks a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant, Access Control & Facilities Management to join our team in the Lexington Park, MD. This position is onsite.

This critical role will be responsible for ensuring the security and efficiency of our facility by managing access control systems, coordinating facilities maintenance, and providing comprehensive administrative support. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for employees and visitors, maintaining a safe and professional environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and enforce facility access control policies and procedures

  • Issue and manage visitor access badges/credentials

  • Maintain accurate access control records and logs

  • Coordinate with security personnel to address access-related incidents

  • Manage visitor access, including visitor check-in, badges, and escorting as needed

  • Coordinate and schedule facilities maintenance and repairs

  • Serve as a liaison between employees and facilities management for maintenance requests

  • Coordinate with vendors for facility related services

  • Monitor and maintain office supply inventory

  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces

  • Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle correspondence

  • Facilitating and managing travel logistics and expense reporting

  • Maintain organized records, both physical and electronic

  • Assist with procurement and inventory management for office supplies and equipment

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required

  • Support the planning and execution of events and meetings

  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails, providing professional and courteous service

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, with exposure to access control and/or facilities management preferred

  • Experience and understanding of access control systems and procedures

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace

  • Experience with software and hardware related to access control and facility management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.

Physical Requirements:

  • The work associated with this position will be performed 100% onsite at the ManTech facility.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (50%) of your time.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

  • Ability to occasionally move or lift light office supplies and equipment.


The projected compensation range for this position is $51,700.00-$85,300.00.
