MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented AI/ML Data Scientist for its Engineering Augmentation Team. This remote (US-based) position, with up to 10% travel.
The ideal candidate will leverage advanced AI techniques to ingest, analyze, and predict obsolescence trends from both structured and unstructured data sources.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Engineer intelligent data parsers to automate the ingestion of information from various sources, including PDFs, websites, and databases
Build and deploy predictive models to proactively identify parts at risk of obsolescence within defense-related programs
Drive the design and development of scalable AI/ML software solutions by actively participating in team meetings and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Support mission-critical AI applications by addressing customer needs through direct engagement and conference presentations
Contribute to AI/ML capability growth by leveraging predictive analytics to meet increasing customer demands in a dynamic environment
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related fiel
7+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
Experience with software architecture design and implementation
Experience in data integration from multiple sources and databases
Experience with AI/ML-driven software solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AWS Cloud services
Experience with Docker containers
Experience with CI/CD automation tools
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
Proven success in remote team environments
Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to collaborate with other leaders/teams, use standard office automation equipment, and virtual communication
The projected compensation range for this position is $114,700.00-$191,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
